About your edit to Arena[]

Hi, I have a conflicting view on your edit to Arena. Although your table takes up less vertical real estate, it takes up way too much horizontal real estate and is very hard to read, and it will just continue to grow horizontally which is very bad. I would like to revert your edit back to a vertical table.

We can discuss other options for a table if you like. Aegonostic (talk) 19:41, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

The most ideal compromise would be to keep the horizontal table, but confine it to a certain box with a scroll wheel native to it, rather than having to scroll the whole page. The vertical format will only grow redundant over time. Hikarigami (talk) 18:41, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
I made a recent edit to Arena today, if you can take a look and post what you think about the compromise I made, that would be great, thanks. Basically, I hid the entire horizontal table inside a collapsible box, so it is still there, but it won't get in the user's way of scrolling down the page and coming across a very long horizontal table. I saw. My comment was in response to your change.Hikarigami (talk) 20:41, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
Ok, I think we can do a horizontal scrolling table, but I also like keeping the original vertical table as well, because it is very clear listing out which expansions are part of the Arena rotation. Maybe we can include both tables in the section, as equals. Ok, let me try conjuring up something right now. Aegonostic (talk) 21:15, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
I can't see myself deleting the original table because it provides lots of clarity as to which expansions were used in each Arena rotation cycle. I also do see the benefit of your table having a visual chronology to the Arena rotations, though it is horizontally very lengthy. I made another edit to the page, adding in a horizontal scroll bar, and keeping both tables in the section for now. Maybe we can leave it alone as it is for now, until someone else comes along and asks "why are there two tables?". Aegonostic (talk) 22:45, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
That's fine for now, I suppose. Hikarigami (talk) 05:04, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
Yea. :( Maybe if the tables get too lengthy, they can both be put into a collapsible box in the future (like for Tavern Brawls), and just leave a table outside for the current Arena rotation set (i.e. not the past rotation sets). Aegonostic (talk) 05:55, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
