Section placement[]

I put the Trivia section above the Lore section because the trivia in this case was directly relating to Hearthstone, whereas Lore supplies information from sources independent from Hearthstone. The trivia therefore seemed less "trivial" than the lore :) So perhaps that was a bad section name to use. But in any case it does seem like Hearthstone-specific info should come before Warcraft-in-general info, no? - jerodast (talk) 20:53, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

I moved it because I think it is important for the sections to follow a universal ordering but I see what you mean. There are probably a few other pages that have trivia directly related to Hearthstone so it is probably fine to leave it as is. If you think it would flow better, we could always put it in the Notes section. --Beanchagbear (talk) 21:14, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
Yeah it was not a wrong decision, I'm just trying to figure out an organization that serves both aims. We need a "Strategically trivial" and "Truly trivial" section haha. - jerodast (talk) 21:49, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
I agree with your assessment of the dilemma ;) For my money, I would definitely keep Trivia below Lore, if only because in the future we may add further pieces of trivia (truly trivial trivia) which would then be placed above the more relevant (and less trivial) lore.
Putting it as the bottom Note on the list would be fine, since it is gameplay-related, at least. Overall I'd say any pertinent factual info should be kept in the one place if at all possible. Ironically the info will soon be out of date and probably pretty irrelevant, with cards like The Grand TournamentColdarra Drake (not to mention the The Grand TournamentMaiden of the Lake combo) coming into the game. -- Taohinton (talk) 22:24, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
Mmm, good point. I guess the more historically notable fact was that until Thaurissan came out, Shadowform was the only way you could use Powers twice or thrice in a turn (since Jaraxxus costs 9). Maybe that's more worth noting than the other thing. - jerodast (talk) 02:37, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
I'm an idiot, obviously cost reduction existed from the start, so Summoning Portal x 2 + Jaraxxus could allow for two Hero Powers on top. Still, Shadowform was the only one where it was fairly EASY to do so :)
Also I don't really see the trivia as being "notes". I think of "notes" as notes on card mechanics, not "hey try out this cool play". If anything it could be at the end of "Strategy" - "here is the strategy to pull off this silly combo" haha. - jerodast (talk) 02:46, 31 July 2015 (UTC)

Third Shadowform[]

If you have Mind Shatter, can you do Mind Shatter, Shadowform (giving you a new Mind Shatter), Mind Shatter in a single turn? --Patashu (talk) 01:38, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Adys says it does nothing. --Patashu (talk) 02:14, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Presumably this means the icon itself isn't affected/flipped over either? I guess that means the behaviour is probably specifically wired into Shadowform to only grant Mind Shatter if the player currently has Mind Spike. I guess the correct phrasing for "If already in Shadowform" would be pretty cumbersome, and the card text is already long. -- Taohinton (talk) 02:57, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
