“Griftah here with de Sul’chop. One chop, you get four damage. Two chops, eight damage - you gonna change de way you fight."
Sul'thraze is an epic warrior weapon card, from the Rastakhan's Rumble set.
How to get
Sul'thraze can be obtained through Rastakhan's Rumble card packs, or through crafting.
Card | Crafting cost | Disenchanting |
---|---|---|
Sul'thraze | 400 | 100 |
Golden Sul'thraze | 1600 | 400 |
Notes
- If you activate Sul'thraze's Overkill effect then equip another weapon, you may attack again.
Strategy
This weapon is on paper nearly identical to Fool's Bane in function, but has the advantage of being able to hit the enemy Hero. Due to this difference, Sul'thraze is more suitable in more aggressive decks that are looking to push for damage without getting walled out by smaller Taunt minions with the flexibility of removing a few weakened minions to control the board than strict board control.
Has synergy with Heroic Strike, which increases the threshold of its Overkill effect while still being able to deliver a powerful blow to the hero afterwards.
Lore
- Sul'thraze the Lasher, the Splitblade of Suffering, is a two-handed sword.
- Sul'thraze the Lasher is created by combining two rare swords from Zul'Farrak, Jang'thraze the Protector and Sang'thraze the Deflector, using Call of Sul'thraze.
Trivia
- Sul'thraze's flavor text refers both to Griftah and to the 2008 "Slap Chop" infomercial.
