Strategy
Spellweaver is best compared to 
Evolved Kobold, 
Ogre Magi, and Archmage. Over Evolved Kobold, Spellweaver gains 2/2 but costs 2 extra mana. Over Ogre Magi, Spellweaver gains +1 Spell Damage, but costs 2 extra. Over Archmage, Spellweaver gains +1 Spell Damage but loses 3 health. Overall, this minion compares unfavorably to all of them, as it has exceptionally poor stats for a 6 mana minion, and the high cost makes it hard to combo with spells. That makes it a fairly un-ideal card for Constructed and incredibly poor in Arena.

- Spellweaver's summoning quote is a reference to the "spider-sense", an ability possessed by the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man. It is is also a reference to the Crypt Fiend unit in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, whose gag quotes include "Spider sense... tingling."
