Mucklings are unique to Hearthstone. Not much is known about the origin of mucklings, other than that they seem to be the minions of Hagatha the Witch. 
Muckmorpher appears to be adult or mutant variation in Rise of Shadows and a group of them can be seen with her on the art for 
Corrupt the Waters.
