Notes
- Because Crowd Favorite is an 'on play' trigger, it triggers before any Battlecry belonging to the minion you play. For example, if you target a 4/4 Crowd Favorite with a
Faceless Manipulator's Battlecry, the Crowd Favorite's effect will resolve first, and the Faceless Manipulator's Battlecry will then copy the buffed version of the Crowd Favorite, resulting in two 5/5s.[1] - Crowd Favorite triggers on Perdition's Blade regardless of whether or not its Combo is activated.[2]
Strategy
Crowd Favorite is a potentially strong card thanks to its ability to gain stats relatively quickly, since Battlecry minions are very common in most decks. Its stats are only slightly lower than the vanilla 4-drop Chillwind Yeti, meaning that immediate activation is not always required. If it sticks around, it can potentially reach much higher stat totals.
