Strategy
Despite having a similar effect to cards like 
I Know a Guy and 
Hallucination, Cloning Device is costed at 2 mana from the belief that your opponent must have better cards to discover from than other, lower costed discover effects. 1 mana "draw a card" like effects are already considered inefficient except in certain circumstances. Because of this, Cloning Device is very inefficiently costed at 2 mana and struggles to find a place in even potentially synergistic Priest decks.
However, against certain decks which shuffle strong cards into the deck, Cloning Device is extremely useful, being able to discover cards such as ones from Academic Espionage and buffed minions from 
Surrender to Madness, or even Direhorn Matriarch. In wild, The Storm Guardian can also have a great impact on the game.
