Warglaives of Azzinoth
|Set:||Ashes of Outland|
After attacking a minion, your hero may attack again.
The blades glow green from things unseen, dark dreams whirling in the felfire gleam.
How to get[edit | edit source]
Warglaives of Azzinoth can be obtained through Ashes of Outland card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Regular Warglaives of Azzinoth can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of each Ranked season.
|Warglaives of Azzinoth||400||100|
|Golden Warglaives of Azzinoth||1600||400|
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The effect will persist even if the weapon is destroyed, allowing your hero to attack an additional time if your hero still has Attack and the condition was fulfilled.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Warglaives of Azzinoth can be used to attack through Taunt minions or clear wide boards. As a better Assassin's Blade by default, the statline is generally good thanks to Demon Hunter's variety of attack buffs. Warglaives of Azzinoth can extend the effects of attack-boosts like Chaos Strike or Inner Demon to up to four targets, so long as three of them were minions.
Lore[edit | edit source]
- The Twin Blades of Azzinoth are a pair of weapons wielded by Illidan Stormrage. Azzinoth was a doom guard commander whom Illidan slew 10,000 years ago. Illidan took Azzinoth's twin warglaives and trained himself to use them. He has become exceedingly efficient with the weapons. When Illidan used the twin warglaives they were usually connected, but could be disconnected to form separate weapons. Once disconnected they could be reconnected to form a single weapon once more. The pit lord Magtheridon proved to be no match for the wielder of the Twin Blades of Azzinoth.
- Warglaive of Azzinoth is a legendary one-handed sword that drops from Illidan Stormrage at the Black Temple in Shadowmoon Valley. Warglaive of Azzinoth is part of a two piece set called The Twin Blades of Azzinoth.
