How to get[edit | edit source]

Vryghoul can be obtained through Knights of the Frozen Throne card packs, or through crafting.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting

Golden Vryghoul 400 50

Summoned minions[edit | edit source]

Strategy[edit | edit source]

This card is comparable to Scarlet Crusader and Eggnapper as a 3/1 minion for 3 mana which requires multiple hits to kill.

Like certain other minions that only trigger their effect on your opponent's turn, this card synergizes well with Taunt.

Quotes[edit | edit source]

In the best shape of my life!

Lore[edit | edit source]

The Vryghoul appears to be a vargul.

From Wowpedia:

Vargul are a type of undead vrykul. They have been raised into a lesser form of undeath because they were not found worthy by the Lich King. They are the losers of the challenge to "ascend" at Jotunheim. The winners are named ymirjar. They are changed by val'kyr after their failure.
Unlike other undead, they appear to retain some level of intelligence, and consequently many resent their fate. Thus the major difference between vargul and lesser undead minions is that vargul still possess enough of their minds to despise being used for labor. Never will a vargul be pleased to be working aside skeletons or ghouls.
