Unleash the Beast is a rare hunter spell card, from the Rise of Shadows set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Unleash the Beast can be obtained through Rise of Shadows card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Golden Unleash the Beast can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of each Ranked season.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Unleash the Beast 100 20
Golden Unleash the Beast 800 100

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Unleash the Beast synergizes well with Zul'jin. In addition to summoning at least one 5/5 Rush Wyvern, the Twinspell effect will add an additional copy of the Spell to your hand for future use. A single copy of Unleash the Beast will give you two 5/5 Wyverns when Zul'jin triggers if you activate the Twinspell-created copy before summoning Zul'jin, giving you plenty of value in a single card.

Unleash the Beast is also generally good in any deck that needs to run only a specific set of minions. In Wild, for example, this could be run in a deck that uses Barnes, Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound or Kathrena Winterwisp; because Unleash the Beast is a spell, those minions' effects won't be hampered.

Lore[edit | edit source]

Unleash the Beast was an artifact trait available to Beast Mastery hunters wielding the artifact weapon Titanstrike during World of Warcraft: Legion. It slightly increased the damage bonus granted by Bestial Wrath. As with all artifact traits, Unleash the Beast was removed when artifact weapons became deprecated in Battle for Azeroth.
