Strategy[]

  • Battle of Tol Barad

This Brawl is powerful with minion-orientated decks. Playing a powerful high-cost minion can provide you with a powerful high-cost spell that can be cast right away, since it is free. Likewise, playing multiple low-cost minions in one turn provides you with weak spells, but their effects combined can be enough to swarm the enemy.

  • Yellow-Brick Brawl

The position of your minions can make a huge difference. Minions who already have Taunt should be played to the left of Dorothee, and minions already with Charge should be played to the right. Also, minions with high Health make good Taunt minions and should therefore be placed to the right, while minions with high Attack should be played to the left as being able to attack right away can prove to be effective in certain situations. In the event that the minion has decent Attack and Health, pick a side depending on the current situation. It may provide you with the extra protection you need, or just enough sauce to finish off the enemy Hero.

  • Catacomb Treasures!

Unlike the actual Tavern Brawl, where seven minions have to be played by both players to complete a quest, YOU have to play four. Low-cost minions are ideal for finishing the quest early. If you manage to do so, make sure to still have a healthy supply of minions on the board to break the Master Chest and reap your spoils.

  • When Clones Attack!

This Brawl pairs well with minions that have powerful triggered effects. While the clone's 1/1 stats make it really easy to kill, its triggered effect can make all the difference if it manages to stay on the battlefield long enough to use it.

  • The Masked Ball

One of the weaker Brawls to choose, Deathrattle minions are ideal as their normal Deathrattle effects can stack with their "Deathrattle: Summon a minion that costs (2) less", often to devastating effect.

  • The Void Singularity

Since your minions die at the end of each of your turns, Deathrattle minions are ideal. Minions that summon more minions are another great choice as they can greatly increase the stats of your Void Singularity. Often times if the Void Singularity isn't dealt with soon enough, it will overwhelm the enemy Hero with extremely high Attack and Health, making it difficult to defeat by normal means. However, the Void Singularity can be easily dealt with by Poisonous minions, spells that destroy minions such as Goblins vs GnomesCrush, Kobolds & CatacombsCrushing Walls, LegacyAssassinate, LegacyDeadly Shot and LegacyExecute, and spells that make it weaker such as Mean Streets of GadgetzanDevolve, LegacyHex and LegacyPolymorph.

  • Cloneball!

A very powerful Brawl, since Legendary minions are usually more powerful than standard ones and Offensive Play allows you to put them on the battlefield earlier. If your starting minions happen to consist of at least two copies of either Kobolds & CatacombsZola the Gorgon or Rise of ShadowsBarista Lynchen, you can easily overwhelm the enemy and swarm the field with copies of them.

  • Randomonium

The effectiveness of this Brawl mostly boils down to luck. You may be able to get a powerful minion onto the battlefield earlier, or be forced to use a weak spell late in the game. Try to play powerful cards when you are given the opportunity to do so.

  • Valeera's Bag of Burgled Spells

Essentially a reversed version of Battle of Tol Barad, this is ideal with spell-orientated decks. Combined with cards that reduce the cost of spells, such as LegacyPreparation, powerful spells can be played early, thus resulting in powerful minions to follow up with.
