Target Dummy is a rare neutral minion card, from the Goblins vs Gnomes set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Target Dummy can be obtained through Goblins vs Gnomes card packs purchased online from the shop, or through crafting.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Target Dummy 100 20
Golden Target Dummy 800 100

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Generally blocks a single attack before dying. Throw it down in front of Jeeves to protect his draw engine, or as an extra target for Metaltooth Leaper. If you want a cheap Taunt minion for a non-Mech buff, Shieldbearer is a better choice despite higher cost; after turn 3 or so, the speed advantage of Target Dummy is dwarfed by the extra 2 Health.

One of the best uses of this card is to play it on turn 3 or 2 (with The Coin) alongside an Iron Sensei. Assuming the Target Dummy is the only other Mech on your side of the board, it is guaranteed to become a 2/4 with Taunt, and if your enemy cannot destroy either of them, can potentially grow even bigger every turn.

Can be used to trigger combos in a rogue deck.

Can be used for Mimiron's Head as it is a cheap and relatively unimportant minion. However, its Taunt and low Health make it an easy target that may be unable to survive your opponent's turn. Conceal can be useful in order to ensure its survival until the next turn.

Lore[edit | edit source]

In World of Warcraft, a Target Dummy is a gadget that can be crafted by Engineers and which causes nearby monsters to attack it.
