Demon?[edit source]

I'm dubious of categorising this as a demon, lore-wise. I'm open to the idea, but as far as I can tell it's simply a portal through which demons are summoned, rather than a demon in itself. This is presumably why it's not of the Demon minion type, and has 0 Attack. Its soundbites are also very generic, similar to those for Searing Totem: while obviously magical, I don't think it's meant to be alive. The appearance depicts a humanoid figure, but I would suggest this is more like the decorative design of the Dark Portal. However, if anyone has any more information I'm open to being wrong. -- Taohinton (talk) 09:58, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

Personally, I definitely don't think it's an actual demon, just an inanimate magical object, but one could make the argument that it's been shaped to resemble a demon what with the horns. I don't know if that's enough to include it in the Demon art category, but I would say no. --DeludedTroll (talk) 10:44, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
The golden animation features the silhouette of Lord Jaraxxus, Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion. That's why I put it in the demon art category instead of the demon category. --Vanasbry000 (talk) 10:45, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
Ah, my mistake, I thought you had put it in the Demons category. That said, I'm not sure a fleeting image of a demon in the golden animation feels like enough for me, especially as it's not present at all in the regular art (which is all that's shown on the Demon art page) or indeed the full art. My feeling is the golden art is a separate thing in itself really; it's created by a small group of unrelated Team 5 artists entirely separately to the original art, and is rarely seen in-game. I'd be more inclined to base the categories off the original full art. -- Taohinton (talk) 01:28, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
