Redundant[edit source]

This page seems a bit misleading and redundant? Buccaneer does work with regular weapons that you play from the hand, such as Assassin's Blade. In other words, this page basically just covers all the uncollectable weapons and that's it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AhriFangirl2012 (talkcontribs) 16:57, 5 October 2015‎

I agree it's a close one. However, as stated on the page, Equip is the equivalent of Summon. It's very similar to playing a weapon from the hand, but mechanically it's actually distinct. As with Summon, you can tell this because Battlecries are not activated. For example Blingtron 3000 does not trigger the bonus damage from Perdition's Blade, or the buffs from Coghammer.
Buccaneer is indeed not specifically related to equip, which I've now corrected. Otherwise, while the distinction is a fine one, it is potentially a game-critical one, and definitely a real one. -- Taohinton (talk) 20:08, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
