Strategy[edit | edit source]
A devastating play with Steward of Darkshire, followed up with Rallying Blade. Subsequently playing Quartermaster also forms an excellent combination. Also works well with Warhorse Trainer.
This card can finish Righteous Cause very easily and effectively gives 10/10 from 5 bodies for just 6 mana.
This card can also be useful in Odd Paladin decks.
This card is comparable with Day at the Faire, while the Corrupted version is strictly better, Stand Against Darkness can be easily played on curve compared to Day at the Faire.
Lore[edit | edit source]
While the Old Gods are not the specific darkness the paladins were created to stand against, they have shown time and again their willingness to rise and defend Azeroth in the name of the Holy Light, whatever the threat.
