Shimmerfly is a rare hunter minion card, from the Rise of Shadows set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Shimmerfly can be obtained through Rise of Shadows card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Golden Shimmerfly can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of each Ranked season.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Similar to Webspinner or Jeweled Macaw, this card is a 1-drop value-generating Beast for Hunters.

Shimmerfly can synergize well with cards that benefit from Deathrattles, such as Necromechanic, or Spells, such as Zul'jin. Being a Beast also lets Shimmerfly synergize with Hunter's large amount of Beast-related cards.

Revenge of the Wild Rare Spell Hunter 2
Summon your Beasts that died this turn. My roommates only use Revenge of the Passive Aggressive.
Wing Blast Rare Spell Hunter 4
Deal 4 damage to a minion. If a minion died this turn, this costs (1). Emeriss uses Wing Blast. It's super effective!

Deal 5 damage to a minion and 2 damage to adjacent ones. Pull the pin, count to 5, then shoot. Then duck.
