Battlecry: Destroy a minion with 1 or less Attack.

Back in my day, we had to manually scorp.

Scorp-o-matic is a rare neutral minion card, from the Kobolds & Catacombs set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Scorp-o-matic can be obtained through Kobolds & Catacombs card packs purchased online from the Battle.net shop, or through crafting.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Scorp-o-matic 100 20
Golden Scorp-o-matic 800 100

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Scorp-o-matic works as cheap early removal against small enemies, especially most 1-mana minions. It can also destroy Doomsayer, which is very hard to do very early in the game otherwise.

Scorp-o-matic has a strong synergy with Aldor Peacekeeper, similarly to Stampeding Kodo but much stronger as the effect of Scorp-o-matic is targetable and three mana cheaper. It is also a mech and would be a strong removal option for slower mech decks.

Priests can use Shrinkmeister and Pint-Size Potion in Wild to get other minions within range, and Warlocks can use Curse of Weakness in the same vein. Neither class really needs a 2-card removal, though, since neither class lacks removal tools.

Rogues can perform an OTK with Mechwarper, Sonya Shadowdancer, 2 Scorp-o-matics endlessly killing each other and finish with a Spectral Pillager, with at least 3 of these cards discounted by Emperor Thaurissan.
