Strategy

A stronger version of Whispers of the Old GodsDivine Strength when holding a dragon. It's a nice buff for control movements, streghtening a low cost taunt minion or even creating a power curve card like The WitchwoodParagon of Light or Saviors of UldumBrazen Zealot.

You may not need a Dragon focused deck to take advantage of this card. Descent of DragonsBronze Explorer, Rise of ShadowsBronze Herald are simple options for an early Sand Breath and generating further Dragons for a later buff.

Sand Breath is an alternate way for The WitchwoodThe Glass Knight to stay alive. Whenever you lack of healing spells or you don't have any target requiring it, Sand Breath plus a dragon can help you keep the pressure.

Paladin has some nice stats cards like Rastakhan's RumbleHigh Priest Thekal, Rise of ShadowsCommander Rhyssa, Knights of the Frozen ThroneArrogant Crusader, Rastakhan's RumbleZandalari Templar and Descent of DragonsAmber Watcher, and Sand Breath gives them a lot of control power.

Keep in mind that Sand Breath is just a Whispers of the Old GodsDivine Strength without a dragon, and using it this way is a waste, since you can have the same effect without any dragon and save some cards in the process.
