During your turn, your weapon doesn't lose Durability.
Don't worry, he'll keep an eye on that for you.
How to get[edit | edit source]
|Golden Runeforge Haunter||800||100|
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Weapons that lose durability through means other than attacking (Ex. Sword of Justice, Atiesh) will also not lose durability from its effect.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Runeforge Haunter can offer high value under the right conditions, if you are able to get a powerful weapon like Shadowblade or Assassin's Blade into play, or buff a weapon with a card like Deadly Poison. In most situations, the card will represent 1 Durability, as it's low health means that it's likely to die fairly quickly after being played.
In Arena, Runeforge Haunter is a fairly weak card, as in most situations the card effect will only be affecting the weapon from Dagger Mastery, which is generally expendable. For this reason, it's only valued as a weak 4 Mana 5/3 minion.
Lore[edit | edit source]
- Geists are hideous crawling, gangrel creatures of the Scourge. Geists have hangman's ropes around their necks and at least some of them are executed criminals reborn as undead. Agile and quick despite their crawling gait, they are one of the lower-ranking forms of undead. Aside from use in combat, geists see a lot of service as manual labor. Despite their gagged, hooded faces (dominated by only one eye) and muffled, harsh cackling, geists are capable of coherent speech after clearing their throats.
- After being freed from the grasp of the Lich King, some geists have regrouped against him under the banner of Highlord Darion Mograine as members of the Knights of the Ebon Blade.
