Strategy[edit | edit source]

Replicating Menace is a key source of mech tokens to enable Junkbot to grow to incredible power over the course of a battle.

In the early game, it is a better idea to place your first two replicating menaces directly on the battlefield rather than to magnetize them to another early mech, this way it can recieve buffs separately from your existing mechs such as those from Metaltooth Leaper. It also makes a good target for Screwjank Clunker to allow this minion to survive early AOE such as those from Cave Hydra and Nefarian's hero power. However in the late game these buffs should instead be directed at your Junkbot.

When you collect replicating menace for a triple, the microbots it summons become 2/2s rather than 1/1s, which allows them to trade against common 2/2 tokens such as those from a golden Rat Pack found in beast armies, or a golden Imp Gang Boss and even the 1/3 Void Walkers from a plain Voidlord which are common in Soul Juggler armies. Additionally, since the golden copy returns to your hand, you can magnetize it onto key end-game mechs such as Foe Reaper 4000 to provide an immediate and incredible stat boost.
