Ramp Druid (also known as "Big Druid") is a Druid deck type that takes advantage of Druid's unique ability to gain extra mana as a win condition. It usually builds a huge amount of high value minions and relies on late-game Taunts to stabilize and recover from its slow start. The deck can be very punishing against control decks due to the massive minions it can play, but suffers against fast aggro decks if not given time to stabilize.
The deck often aims to try to cheat out large threats very early through use of Giant Anaconda, Innervate and Barnes, as well as naturally being able to play them earlier due to its naturally faster mana growth thanks to Wild Growth, Nourish, Jade Blossom and Mire Keeper.
The current version of Ramp Druid opts to run big Dragons. Its focal point of power comes from Master Oakheart, who can recruit a Dragonhatcher and Drakkari Enchanter to put out multiple huge bodies in one turn.
In Wild format, the deck gains some very valuable minions. Emperor Thaurissan combined with Aviana can really speed up the deck's game plan and allow for even crazier late game plays. The card Astral Communion also presents a different play style for Ramp Druid in Wild, commonly referred to as Astral Druid.
