Quartz Elemental is a common priest minion card, from the The Witchwood set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Quartz Elemental can be obtained through The Witchwood card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Golden Quartz Elemental can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of each Ranked season.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Quartz Elemental 40 5
Golden Quartz Elemental 400 50

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Quartz Elemental gives a bulky, overstatted body for its mana cost, but with a significant drawback, since any damage this takes leaves it unable to attack. In order to circumvent this, Priests have the separate options of healing it back to full health, or Silencing the minion to remove its drawback entirely. High-value heals, such as Circle of Healing and Divine Hymn, can fully heal this card and let it attack again.

Quartz Elemental also joins Priest's elemental arsenal, which is supported by minions such as Lyra the Sunshard, Radiant Elemental, and Crystalline Oracle.

Overall, Priests have not found much use for this card, since they have sufficiently powerful minions that don't require as much support through the Dragon Priest and Spiteful Priest decks. The existence of cards like Humongous Razorleaf leave it poor for Silence Priest.

Note that cards such as Equality and Sunkeeper Tarim set both max and current Health to 3, making this minion considered undamaged.
