While most patch changes affect the game for all players, this page lists patch changes affecting only one or more of Hearthstone's platform-specific versions, such as iPad, Android and Tablet.

In many cases, patches appear to be made available for non-PC platforms days or weeks after being available for other systems. In these cases, the listed changes are likely only added to the overall patch and patch notes with the release of those versions. Where possible, dates for the release of these versions are listed below, rather than those for the release of the main patch.

Patch 5.2.0.13619 (2016-07-12)[]

Bug fixes[]

  • [iOS] Hearthstone will no longer crash when the device is in a certain orientation when the game is launched.
  • [Android] Taking Fatigue damage after running out of cards will no longer result in a crash on Samsung Galaxy S7 devices using Snapdragon CPUs.
  • [Mobile] Fixed an issue that could prevent interaction with Heroes and Hero Powers on mobile devices.
  • [Mobile] You should no longer crash when clicking on the Social button to bring up the friends list on phones.

Patch 4.2.0.12051 (2016-03-14)[]

Bug fixes[]

  • [iPads with iOS 9.0.2+] Resolved an issue that could cause Hearthstone to crash when launched with the device held in certain orientations.
  • [Android] Resolved visual issues that could occur with the League of Explorer’s card back and after League of Explorer matches on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge+ devices.

Bug fixes[]

  • [Mobile] Addressed an issue where Ranked Play stars were not properly displayed after ending a game.
  • [Mobile] Addressed an issue where opponent's Battletags were an incorrect font size.
  • [iOS] Crafting legendary minions will no longer cause the game to crash.
  • [iOS] Leaving the Arena rewards screen will no longer cause the game to crash.

  • [Android] You can once again change your favorite card back
  • [Android] Android OS 5.0.X (Lollipop) users will now automatically import the Battle.net Authenticator code when logging in
  • [iOS] The game will no longer freeze on the splash screen after being away for a while
  • [iOS] You can once again search for cards that contain diacritics without specifying their proper marks
  • [Mobile] Fixed an issue with volume sliders
  • [Mobile] You will no longer get stuck on the matchmaking screen after a Tavern Brawl with a friend ends

  • [Mobile] You no longer have to log-in again when prompted to accept a new Terms of Use
  • [Android] Fixed a bug that prevented the Hearthstone app from running after it had been moved to external storage.

General[]

  • [iOS] Added support for 64-bit devices.
  • [iOS] In order to address an issue when searching for cards that utilize diacritics, we have temporarily disabled searching for cards that use diacritics without their proper marks.
  • [Android] Resolved an issue causing some phones to display the tablet UI.

Bug fixes[]

  • [Tablet] Tablet versions of the game should now be able to purchase multiple packs at a time with gold.

Bug fixes[]

  • [Tablet] Moving a card pane within the Collection Manager should no longer cause the card preview to become stuck.
  • [Android] Lollipop users (Android OS 5.0+) will once again be able to log-in using the Amazon build.

  • [iPad/Android] You should no longer see the “You have been disconnected” message when you start up the game.
  • [iPad/Android] The in-game friend’s list should now open much faster.

  • [iPad] The search field is now properly shown at the top of the screen when the keyboard is present in the Collection Manager.
  • [iPad] (China only) Login sessions are now preserved when switching between wi-fi points.

  • [iPad] Deck Rename and Deck Delete is now easier to find.

  • [iPad] Resolved an issue that was causing a client crash when choosing between two options of certain Druid cards.
  • [iPad] Resolved an issue where new chat notification bubbles would appear behind the keyboard when in the chat window interface.
  • [iPad] Adjusted the location of where enlarged versions of cards appear so that they are easier to see when selected.
  • [iPad] Resolved an issue where the client may sometimes use the incorrect default language.
