Max Ma is a former senior user interface designer, principal lead designer, and member of the Team 5 Hearthstone development team.[1][2]
Ma joined Team 5 in June 2014.[2] Prior to this he had worked at other companies as lead user interface designer for three years, preceded by work as a 3D generalist.[2]
In May 2021, Ma left Blizzard to pursue other companies.[2]

- Ma is responsible for the user interfaces for Hearthstone on iOS and Android phones.[3] He designed the game mode ID interface elements.[4]
- Hearthstone was released on phone using Ma's interfaces precisely 1 year after he originally received a UI test to join Team 5.[5]
