Strategy[edit | edit source]
Mana Giant is one of the cheapest Giants, costing 8 mana. Its main strength is its ability to reduce its mana cost whenever you play cards that have been generated during the game, through cards such as Tome of Intellect, Magic Trick and Cabalist's Tome. It can be used alongside Open the Waygate since both have the same objective of casting spells that didn't start in the deck, but Mana Giant's cost can also be reduced with generated minions as well, so Astral Rift, Toki, Time-Tinker and Dune Sculptor work as options.
While Mana Giant is exclusive to mages, it can be a valuable Discover or copy option for priests and rogues whose main objective is to copy or generate cards.
