Notes

  • Lorekeeper Polkelt's Battlecry sorts the deck by cards' current cost.
    • In-deck effect cards that increment or decrement their cost will have their cost decided by their base cost.
  • If there are multiple cards that have the same cost in your deck, they will be sorted randomly.

Lore[]

In World of Warcraft, Lorekeeper Polkelt is a level 43 elite zombie mini-boss found in the Scholomance.

This card art depicts a Hearthstone's unique human version of Polkelt.

Wowpedia iconThis section uses content from Wowpedia.
Polkelt is one of the six mini-bosses that are required to call forth Darkmaster Gandling. Polkelt is notable among them in that he is the only one of the six that does not drop a Corruptor's Scourgestone. As we can tell from his name, he was once the keeper of knowledge, knowledge that has sadly been lost, however, as he is now a shambling, unintelligent monster.

Trivia[]

  • Polkelt's flavor text seems to be a valid Quicksort algorithm in Haskell programming language, describing what his Battlecry does. The same code can be found on a WikiWikiWeb page from Haskel Language.
    • Since translating a code into other natural language is useless (or even make it can't run), its flavor texts in most languages retains same as English version.
      • French version use another Quicksort algorithm with French variable name.
      • European Spanish and Russian versions add a comment at beginning.
      • Latin-American Spanish, Italian and Polish versions use a non-code flavor text.
