How to get[edit | edit source]
|High Priest Amet||1600||400|
|Golden High Priest Amet||3200||1600|
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Amet's ability is relatively powerful for a turn 4 minion. All minions of relative cost become much more durable with a healed-up Amet on board, making it that much harder to remove. When he is combined with spells that increase Health such as Divine Spirit, you can swarm the board with very high-health minions. Combine this once more with Inner Fire to do some serious damage. Even on low-Attack minions, the buffed up minions turn into effective fodder for buffs or small removal.
One thing to be aware of is that Amet's ability can be a weakness for minions that have 8 or more Health to begin with, such as Mosh'Ogg Enforcer, or if Amet is damaged and you have no way to heal him back up or kill him off.
With Stonetusk Boar, 2 Divine Spirits, and Inner Fire you can create a 28/28 minion with Charge out of your hand. You can also change Inner Fire for Topsy Turvy and Power Word: Shield for a 36 damage OTK.
Amet is a soft-taunt minion meaning your opponent will do everything it can to damage/destroy it such as making unwanted trades from minions. If not possible, opponents will drop its health to as low possible. This can be a side effect if Amet is low health as your summoned minions that have high health to start with will have low health. Always restore health of Amet before playing your minions!

Lore[edit | edit source]
- High Priest Amet is a Ramkahen tol'vir and is apparently is the leader of the Ramkahen's religious sector called "The Faith of Ramkahen". As such, he is also the sector's representative in the "The High Council", the ruling authority of the Ramkahen under King Phaoris. Having the ability to read the future in the Vir'naal Lake's waters, he can be found inside the Vir'naal Dam in Uldum where he is looking at the water through a window. He there acts as a questgiver. He is accompanied by two Vir'Naal Priests.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- High Priest Amet's flavor text is a reference to the phrase "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others" from George Orwell's 1945 political satire novella Animal Farm.
