Forbidden Words is a rare priest spell card, from the Rise of Shadows set.
How to get
Forbidden Words can be obtained through Rise of Shadows card packs, or through crafting.
Card | Crafting cost | Disenchanting |
---|---|---|
Forbidden Words | 100 | 20 |
Golden Forbidden Words | 800 | 100 |
Strategy
This card acts as a more costly, but more flexible, version of Shadow Word: Pain and Shadow Word: Death. However, if you plan right, you can combo this card with Lazul's Scheme to reduce a minion's Attack to 0 and then kill it, all using 0 Mana.
As Shadow Word: Pain can only kill minions with 3 or less Attack and costs 2 Mana, in most situations Forbidden Words will have superior value; while it will cost more to kill a 3-Attack minion and an equal amount to kill a 2-Attack minion, it will cost less to kill a 1 or 0-Attack minion. This, in combination with its ability to kill higher-power minions in more dire situations, provides it a superior level of flexibility, making it a stronger choice than Shadow Word: Pain in many, if not most, situations.
Trivia
