Notes
- Minions that are summoned will automatically attack enemy minions, starting with the left-most summoned minion attacking a random enemy minion; the player cannot control how the minions attack.[1]
- After all eligible minions have attacked, the surviving ones are immediately destroyed, freeing up the board space they occupied.[1]
- The left-most minion's Deathrattle effect, if any, activates and resolves.
- Then the second left-most minion's Deathrattle, if any, activates and revolves, etc.
- All three summoned minions are removed before any of the Deathrattles activate. So, for example, if you cast this spell on an empty board and the left-most summoned minion is Violet Wurm, its deathrattle will summon seven grubs; the other two summoned minions will already be gone when the grubs are summoned.[1]
- After all eligible minions have attacked, the surviving ones are immediately destroyed, freeing up the board space they occupied.[1]
- Minions that can't attack will still attack when summoned by this card.
- Summoned minions can attack minions without Taunt, even if there are minions with Taunt on the board. They also can attack Stealthed minions.
Strategy
Flark's Boom-Zooka is best used in a deck with deathrattle synergies, and minions which are played solely for their deathrattle, such as Devilsaur Egg or Sylvanas Windrunner, as no additional resource will need to be spent triggering the deathrattles. This card can also be used in conjunction with big beasts such as King Krush and Charged Devilsaur with Revenge of the Wild, where the beasts will die and be revived.
Lore
- Bombs!? Please, I prefer the term “fireworks”. My work brings joy, AND huge explosions, to everybody. Oh, and not just explosions! Fireworks can do a lot before they blow up, y’know. Imagine the possibilities of rockets in public transit! Get a load of this! I call it the Boomzooka! You just load up the passengers here, light the fuse, and then they zoom outta there at high velocity! THEN they explode. Still workin’ on that part. I mean, sure, it’s got pizzazz but nobody’ll use the Boomzooka if they don’t survive the trip.[2]
Trivia
- Flark's Boom-Zooka was designed from a top-down perspective, as it made sense for the explosion-obsessed Boommaster Flark to shoot Beasts out of his deck.[3]
