Fishy Flyer was a murloc student of Scholomance Academy, who was unable to control its 
Animated Broomstick. Spectral Flyer's artwork depicts the ghost riding a ghostly broomstick alongside a broken broomstick in the background, suggesting that both the murloc and the broomstick died in the incident.
