Fire Plume Phoenix is a neutral common minion card, from the Journey to Un'Goro set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Fire Plume Phoenix can be obtained through Journey to Un'Goro card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Golden Fire Plume Phoenix can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of each Ranked season.

Golden Fire Plume Phoenix 400 50

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Although the damaging Battlecry is strong and flexible, this minion has poor stats and is expensive to play (Disciple of C'Thun has a similar Battlecry with a lower manacost). However the Fire Plume Phoenix is an Elemental which allows it to shine in themed decks as a mid to late-game play, activating special effects the following turn such as the 5 cost Servant of Kalimos.

Lore[edit | edit source]

From Wowpedia:

Phoenixes are powerful creatures of fire created by mages. The phoenix is the most powerful spell a potent blood mage could cast. The idea of a creature rising from its own ashes also symbolizes the blood elves who rose from the ashes of the slaughtered high elves. Thus, the phoenix serves as an essential symbol of the blood elf race, found on their flags, banners, tabards, and racial crest.
Fire Plume Ridge is the volcano in the center of Un'Goro Crater. Lava flows down the sides of the mountain, where Fire Elementals can be found. The strongest of all fire elementals in Un'Goro, Blazerunner, lives within a cave at its peak.
