Notes

To edit these notes, go to Template:Transcendence notes.

  • Other than the condition to end the effect and the fact that it applies to a hero, the Transcendence effect behaves exactly like Stealth:
    • Despite the spell's description, Transcendence not only prevents Cho from being attacked, it prevents him from being targeted with ANY spell or effect by the player.
    • Transcendence does not prevent Cho from targeting himself, such as with LegacyVoodoo Doctor's Battlecry.
    • Transcendence does not prevent all damage to Cho; LegacyNightblade's non-targeted Battlecry will still hurt him.
  • The effect is visually displayed by Cho's portrait hovering on top of a cloud above its usual location.

Trivia

  • Transcendence's effect is one of the few which, once in play, is not explained by any card text or enchantment on the board: once the spell falls off the history, players have no reminder of how to end the effect. Of course, since the player has little choice but to clear Cho's minions, they will likely end up doing this eventually anyway.
