Starting board
- Heroic
In Heroic mode, Gluth begins the battle with one Unstable Ghoul and one Zombie Chow already on the board.
Tips[]
- Because of Gluth's hero power, high health minions are less useful here. Minions such as Acidic Swamp Ooze and Scarlet Crusader are worth adding to your deck.
Heroic
- Most of the Construct Quarter may be 'soloed' by an Alexstrasza-equipped Freeze Mage.
- Your own Deathrattle minions should be left out, with the possible exception of Abominations, which contribute Taunt and board-clear.
- Even without Deathrattle enhancement, Gluth's Jaws represent a minimum of 15 damage each time they are played, so mulliganing to an Ooze is strongly worth considering.

Lore[]
Curse of Naxxramas
- The undead plague-dog Gluth sits obediently within Naxxramas, awaiting orders from his masters. No doggie biscuit can satisfy Gluth’s ravenous hunger. It is rumored that Gluth can easily devour an army of undead on a daily basis, which Gluth uses to knit his own decaying flesh back together.[1]
In World of Warcraft
- "Gluth, the foul plague-dog of Naxxramas, was said to have an appetite so voracious that even the living were not enough to satisfy his hunger. Feugen was said to feed him an army of zombies daily, recycling the remains of undead too weak to use in combat."
- - Commander Eligor Dawnbringer
