Notes
To edit these notes, go to Template:Envoy of Lazul notes.
- Envoy of Lazul attempts to show three cards: one card in the opponent's hand, and two cards in the opponent's current deck but not in the opponent's hand.[1][2]
- For the one card in the opponent's hand:
- The card being shown in the opponent's hand does not have to be a card that started in the opponent's deck.[3]
- For the two cards in the opponent's deck but not in the opponent's hand:
- If the opponent's deck is empty, two cards that had started in the opponent's deck will be shown instead.[2]
- If the opponent's deck has only one card left, the same thing happens; two cards that had started in the opponent's deck will be shown instead.
- For the one card in the opponent's hand:
- If the opponent has no cards in hand, Envoy of Lazul's Battlecry does nothing.
- If the player guesses incorrectly, the correct card will be revealed to the player. The two incorrect cards will fade out, and the correct card will fade out last.

Lore[]
Envoy of Lazul is a Merciless one currently possessing a host.
This section uses content from Wowpedia.
- Merciless ones, also called zoatroids, are octopus-like cyclopean parasitic aberrations related to the Old Gods, primarily found alongside the naga forces in Vashj'ir. They are capable of attaching themselves to (and/or devouring) the heads of sapient beings in order to enslave them.
Trivia[]
- The host being possessed appears very similar to Erunak Stonespeaker, who was controlled by Mindbender Ghur'sha in the Throne of the Tides. However, the art doesn't actually depict Ghur'sha since it's an orange and purple merciless one while Ghur'sha is green.
