Coliseum Manager is a rare neutral minion card, from the Grand Tournament set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Coliseum Manager can be obtained through The Grand Tournament card packs purchased online from the Battle.net shop, or through crafting.

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Coliseum Manager 100 20
Golden Coliseum Manager 800 100

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Its card text may have some use in the late game when you lack card draw: use your Hero Power, play Coliseum Manager, end turn. Next turn, attack with the minion and use your Hero Power to return it to your hand, then play it again. However, this is likely only of use if the Coliseum Manager incurs damage or gains a debuff while it is on the board.

If played on curve, or on turn 2 with The Coin, it's 2-5 stats often enables this minion to trade favourably. However, you need to consider your next turn before playing it. If you expect to use your Hero Power next turn, you will lose the tempo just gained.

Lore[edit | edit source]

Behind any great event, there’s someone behind the scenes making sure that everything goes juuuust right. When you’re in charge, it puts so many demands on your attention. Are the steeds fed and/or oiled? Are the weapons polished? Are the murlocs moistened? With so much to do, it’s hard to pin the Coliseum Manager down.[1]

This card is likely based on the role of "Coliseum Master", held in World of Warcraft by Barrett Ramsey. As a non-legendary card, there appear to be multiple coliseum managers/masters, which is understandable given the scale of the event. Ramsey may also have stepped down at the end of the Argent Tournament.

From Wowpedia:

Barrett Ramsey <Argent Coliseum Master> is a level 80 human that begins all of the events in the Trial of the Crusader and the Trial of the Grand Crusader raids.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

This card's art specifically depicts Father Kamaros.

From Wowpedia:

Father Kamaros is a level 80 human quest giver located at The Fleshwerks in Icecrown.
