Notes
- This card's Battlecry has two steps:
- First, it discovers a card;
- Then, it deals an amount of damage to the hero equal to the base mana cost of the discovered card (prior to the application of any cost-modifying effects).
- If you discover a
Lesser Amethyst Spellstone, it will be added to your hand before the Battlecry deals damage, causing it to upgrade.
Strategy
Playing this minion with a 
Violet Illusionist, makes its Battlecry much more favorable, as being immune will negate its downside.
Trivia
This minion's flavor text is a reference to Babbling Book's summoning quote. This is commonly believed to be a tribute to Pavel, who won the 2016 Hearthstone World Championship with the help of Babbling Book, but is actually not, according to Mike Donais.
