Lore[edit | edit source]
- The orcs are one of the most prolific races on Azeroth. Originally hailing from the harsh, alien world of Draenor, the orcs were once a noble shamanistic people cultivating a mighty tribal society that was centered around survival, regulating themselves through ritualized combat and personal honor. Tragically betrayed by one of their spiritual leaders and delivered into the hands of the Burning Legion, the orc clans fell deep into demonic enslavement and were led into Azeroth as an unholy vanguard of the Legion meant to destroy everything in their path.
- Yet, the shamanistic tradition of the orcs managed to rekindle from the ashes, and a young shaman by the name of Thrall arose to become a living symbol of his people's true identity in their darkest hour, causing many of the orcs to rise up against their demon masters and break free from their control. Several of the orcish clans that had existed on Draenor since ancient times reemerged and were united under Thrall's guidance, and the shaman warchief led the orcs out of the Eastern Kingdoms they had been forced to invade and into the continent of Kalimdor, in order to begin a new existence for themselves and their newfound allies. There, they founded the nation of Durotar and the great city of Orgrimmar.
- Today, Thrall's orcs are a redeemed people who have reclaimed their destiny from dark influences, fighting no longer for the sake of destruction but for their very right of survival in their adopted world.

Battlecry: Gain +1/+1 for each other friendly minion on the battlefield. The Frostwolves are locked in combat with the Stormpike Expedition over control of Alterac Valley. Every attempt at peace-talks has ended with Captain Galvangar killing the mediator.

Battlecry: Silence adjacent minions. Don't make her raise her "shush"!
Battlecry: Give a friendly minion +2 Attack. Lance Carrier is an obscure entry level position in orcish armies. A mystery, since orcs don't generally use lances.
After your hero attacks, summon a 1/1 Pirate. His taste in soup is criminal.

Windfury He's stationed in the Hellfire Peninsula, but he's hoping for a reassignment closer to Orgrimmar, or really anywhere the ground is less on fire.
Battlecry: Equip a 2/2 weapon. 50% off fist weapons, limited time only!
Battlecry: If you're holding a Dragon, deal 3 damage. He got his name when he gave Blackwing some comic books and rock & roll records.
What did the pits ever do to you?
Battlecry: Remove 1 Durability from your opponent's weapon. Every pirate uses the same four digits to access Automated Gold Dispensers. It's called the "Pirate's Code".
After you play a Secret, deal 2 damage to all enemy minions. Ancient pandaren proverb: He who is without secrets lacks flak.
Battlecry: Discover a Hunter, Paladin or Warrior card. "Naw, naw. You're talkin' about Grime BOULEVARD. I ain't know nuthin' 'bout that."
Battlecry: Deal 4 damage to HIMSELF. He claims it is an old war wound, but we think he just cut himself shaving.
Taunt Whenever this minion deal damage, gain that much Armor. The rent is cheap and she passes the savings onto YOU!
Battlecry: Give your C'Thun +2/+2 (wherever it is). If it's dead, shuffle it into your deck. "Hello, is Doom there? No? Can I leave a message?"

Battlecry: Summon a random Beast. It's never Huffer.
At the end of your turn, Recruit a Dragon. Which came first? The dragon or the dragonhatcher?

Battlecry: Equip a random weapon. Garrosh's best buddy. It's true. Look it up.
Battlecry: If you're holding a Dragon, destroy a Legendary minion. Rend believes he is the True Warchief of the Horde and he keeps editing the wikipedia page for "Warchief of the Horde" to include his picture.
Costs (1) less for each friendly Pirate. What's more boss than riding a parrot with a jawbone for a shoulderpad while wielding a giant hook-lance-thing and wearing a pirate hat? NOTHING.
Battlecry: Add a 5/5 Horror to your hand. Teach it two Shaman spells. Rafaam mainly enjoys working with Hagatha because she never laughs at Dr. Boom's jokes.
Has +6 Attack while damaged. Grommash drank the tainted blood of Mannoroth, dooming the orcs to green skin and red eyes! Maybe not his best decision.

Give your weapon +2 Attack. Rogues guard the secrets to poison-making carefully, lest magi start incorporating poison into their spells. Poisonbolt? Rain of Poison? Poison Elemental? Nobody wants that.
Look at the top three cards of your deck. Draw one and discard the others. For the person who just cannot decide what card to put in their deck!
Destroy a damaged enemy minion. It's okay, he deserved it.
Change a minion's Health to 1. Never play 'Hide and Go Seek' with a Hunter.
Summon a random Beast Companion. You could summon Misha, Leokk, or Huffer! Huffer is more trouble than he's worth.
Deal 2 damage. Restore 2 Health to your hero. "I've just sucked one year of your life away."
Deal 4 damage to an enemy and 1 damage to all other enemies. When a bear rears back and extends his arms, he's about to Swipe! ... or hug.
Silence a minion, then deal 1 damage to it. Earth Shock? Shouldn't it be "Azeroth Shock"?
Destroy a minion. Your opponent draws 2 cards. Another one bites the dust.
Deal 2 damage to a minion. 50% off. Every shot must go!
Give a minion +2 Attack. Combo: +4 Attack instead. "I'm cold blooded, check it and see!"
Combo: Summon a 2/1 Defias Bandit. He stole the deed to town years ago, so technically the town is his. He just calls people Scrub to be mean.
Deal 3 damage.
If your hand is empty, draw a card. Han shot first.
Deal 4 damage to a minion. Overload: (1) WARNING: DO NOT TOUCH THE PURPLE BALL OF LIGHTNING

Gain 3 Armor. You might think bashing doesn't take a lot of practice. It doesn't.
Battlecry: Discover a copy of a minion in your deck. He's just exercising his right to bear arms.

Copy 3 cards in your opponent's deck and add them to your hand. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Seconds, anyone?

Give a friendly Beast +2 Attack and Immune this turn. The seething wrath is just beneath the surface. Beneath that is wild abandon, followed by slight annoyance.
Give a friendly minion +3/+3 and Rush. It dies at end of turn. "Ha ha! Glork looks ridiculous! ...Glork? Glork?"
Deal 2 damage to a minion. If it's Frozen, draw a card. This may appear weak at frost glance, but it's actually a very ice spell.
Add a copy of each damaged friendly minion to your hand. They have an uneasy rivalry with the Blood Paladins.
Draw a card. That card costs (3) less. Drek'thar can't see, but he can see. You know what I mean? It's ok if you don't.
Destroy all minions except one. (chosen randomly) Do you know the first rule of Brawl Club?

Battlecry: If you're holding a Dragon, deal 7 damage to an enemy minion. Every major show has an opening act to warm up the crowd.
Attacking a minion costs 1 Attack instead of 1 Durability. Grommash Hellscream's famous axe. Somehow this ended up in Prince Malchezaar's possession. Quite the mystery!

Deathrattle: Summon a Mech from your hand and trigger its Deathrattle. Reduce, reuse, re-rattle!
Battlecry: If your deck has no duplicates, the next spell you cast this turn costs (0). Solia marks the Kabal with intricate tattoos that grant immense power. Also it makes it harder for other gangs to recruit from their numbers. BACK OFF, GOONS.
