Cap'n Hoggarr is a Tier 5 minion in the Battlegrounds game mode.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Cap'n Hoggarr has fairly average stats, but his card effect gives Pirate builds a huge Gold economy advantage. He is used to scale Salty Looter and Southsea Strongarm a lot faster to buff your Pirates into late game powerhouses. If you have a Golden and regular Hoggarr, every Pirate is essentially free. Heroes that with buying-related Hero Powers like Patches the Pirate, Edwin VanCleef, and Millhouse Manastorm also greatly benefit from Cap'n Hoggarr.
