Whenever your opponent casts a spell, add a Coin to your hand.

He only burgles to pay the bills. He is really just a bully at heart.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • As with all spell-based triggered effects, this minion's effect will activate before the opponent's spell takes effect.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

This minion discourages removal via spells, and can force opponents to generate copies of The Coin or trade their own minion(s) to avoid the effect.

Like Tomb Pillager, this minion could be useful in rogue decks for activating Combo effects and Gadgetzan Auctioneer. Mages can also make use of Coins to trigger Archmage Antonidas' effect. Warlocks may use this to generate cards for discarding. Paladin may use the coins in conjunction with Auctionmaster Beardo and Uther of the Ebon Blade to make an OTK combo.

Quotes[edit | edit source]

Troggle, troggle.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Burgly Bully's name and attack quote may be a reference to the Hamburglar, one of several characters featured in the marketing for the American fast food restaurant chain McDonald's. The Hamburglar, as the name suggests, is a small burglar fond of stealing hamburgers, and who is known for his catch phrase "robble robble".
