Golden Brittlebone Destroyer | 800 | 100 |
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Brittlebone Destroyer's Battlecry effect activates only when Health has changed, not Armor.[1]
Strategy[edit | edit source]
For each of the dual classes, this effect is easiest to activate using the hero power, Life Tap or Lesser Heal. This makes Brittlebone Destroyer more or less a 6 mana minion with a destruction effect, similar to a weaker Keli'dan the Breaker or Aeon Reaver respectively.
The advantage in Brittlebone Destroyer is the flexibility of its condition. Its effect can be activated by healing or damaging your hero with anything, including cheap cards like Rain of Fire, Renew, Kobold Librarian, or Mistress of Mixtures. While Priests have trouble dealing damage to themselves, Warlocks have plenty of ways to restore health, giving them a small edge. Lifesteal minions are one of the best ways to trigger Brittlebone Destroyer, since they can restore health for no mana.
Keep in mind that without a way to damage your hero, Brittlebone Destroyer is dead card while your hero has full health.
