Big Bad Archmage is an epic neutral minion card, from the Rise of Shadows set.

How to get[edit | edit source]

Big Bad Archmage can be obtained through Rise of Shadows card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Golden Big Bad Archmage can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of each Ranked season.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Big Bad Archmage is a very costly minion for its low stats, but its end-of-turn effect compensates its value. On it's own, it provides about as much stats as its cost. This card is generally suited more for Arena than constructed.

Shamans have a few cards that can cheat out its effect much earlier, namely Eureka! and Muckmorpher.

If it can last a turn, it combos well with Khadgar, letting you summon two 6-cost minions in a single turn.
