Strategy[edit | edit source]

Armagedillo is a powerful Taunt minion that doubles as a handbuffing tool, essentially casting Into the Fray at the end of each turn. It is most effective in a deck with an abundance of Taunt minions, especially Tomb Warden. Armagedillo helps only further boost the stats of your Taunt minions in hand, which is further compounded if Armagedillo was buffed in the first place, making it very dangerous to leave alive.

In Wild, Armagedillo is a strong minion to include in a deck running Fire Plume's Heart.

Lore[edit | edit source]

Armagedillo is a huge, spiky armadillo that can rarely be encountered in Uldum. In battle, it uses fire-themed abilities like "Dillogeddon", and upon being defeated drops the unique mace weapon Armagedillo's Tail.

In Hearthstone lore, Armagedillo has been made even more fearsome by being equipped with advanced weaponry by Blastmaster Boom.

If you're a maniacal mastermind like Blastmaster Boom nothing is off-limits when trying to get the better of the League of Explorers. Nowhere is that better evidenced than with his newest gun-toting mechanized mammalian monstrosity – Armagedillo![1]
