Spymistress full

Shhhhh...

Aggro Rogue is a fast Aggro deck focusing on Stealth minions and Weapons to deal uncounterable damage to the opponent.

History[]

While various forms of Tempo Rogue served as aggro decks in the past, the first real Aggro Rogue came about in The Witchwood with Odd Rogue. This was a deck focused on fast wins thanks to the LegacyPoisoned Daggers hero power provided by The WitchwoodBaku the Mooneater. This let the Rogue maintain consistent damage or flexibly set up for future weapon buffs, for only two mana. Like many Odd/Even decks of the era, it quickly took over the meta, and remained a force in Standard and Wild play throughout 2018.

While largely unrepresented in the Year of the Dragon, the deck made a comeback in Ashes of Outland with aggressive Stealth support cards, like Ashes of OutlandGreyheart Sage, Ashes of OutlandAshtongue Slayer, and Ashes of OutlandSpymistress. While the deck paled in comparison to Aggro Demon Hunter at the time, it gained steam in Scholomance Academy with Scholomance AcademySecret Passage and Scholomance AcademyVoracious Reader, two cards that let the Rogue easily refuel in spite of both receiving nerfs.
