Acolyte of Agony
|Set:||Knights of the Frozen Throne|
It takes many years of practiced study in order to fully master agony.
How to get[edit | edit source]
Acolyte of Agony can be obtained through Knights of the Frozen Throne card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Golden Acolyte of Agony can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of each Ranked season.

Strategy[edit | edit source]
Acolyte of Agony is a fairly simple minion with a Lifesteal effect. Most of the time, it will only get to attack once, which makes it similar in value to Earthen Ring Farseer. However, Acolyte of Agony comes with a risk, as its ability to be removed via a spell and create no healing value and makes it less consistent than Earthen Ring Farseer. It should be kept in mind, however, that this minion has very good synergy with health buffs such as Power Word: Shield or Kabal Talonpriest, allowing it to survive more attacks and maximize its healing value. Unfortunately, playing this minion on curve will often result in its healing being negligible in most matchups.
In Arena, Acolyte of Agony's healing effect is rather insignificant in most cases, and for that reason, it comes in as an average 3-Mana 3/3 minion, which is reasonable.
