How to get

Bolf Ramshield can be obtained through The Grand Tournament card packs, or through crafting.

Notes

This minion's ongoing effect causes all damage taken by the hero to be redirected to Bolf instead, including from Secrets and fatigue.^[1] However, means of damage prevention such as Divine Shield on Bolf will still function normally to prevent him from taking damage.^[2]
Any instance of damage taken by the hero while Bolf is in play will be taken by him instead. This includes if the damage taken exceeds his current or maximum Health.^[3]
If the player has more than one Bolf in play, only one will function as the target for damage directed at the hero.^[4] However, it has not yet been confirmed how this is determined.

Strategy

This minion's ability can be used as an improved Taunt that only prevents taking damage from the attacks against your hero. Normal Taunt minions can be bypassed by using direct damage, such as Nightblade, Fireball, or Steady Shot, but Bolf Ramshield will redirect this damage towards himself, if the hero is targeted. However, Taunt is sometimes used to protect your valuable minions which Bolf cannot do.
