They initially planned to be the Beryl or Cerulean drakes, but those felt a tad too pretentious.

How to get
Azure Drake can be obtained through Classic card packs, through crafting, or as an Arena reward. Regular Azure Drake can also be obtained through the Highest Rank Bonus chest at the end of a Ranked season, or as a first-time reward for first time reaching Silver 10 or Gold 10 in Ranked mode.

Strategy
Azure Drake is a sturdy 4/4 with two key abilities: Spell Damage and card draw. It is almost identical to the basic Ogre Magi, the only difference being the card draw effect, and an additional 1 mana cost.
Azure Drake is most useful in decks with offensive spells, while its card draw effect can be useful in any deck for gaining card advantage. Its stats make it a solid mid-game minion capable of taking a hit or two, while its 4 Attack makes it useful as an anti-priest minion.
