- Spirit Claws' condition is satisfied if their controller also controls at least one source of Spell Damage: this includes minions with the Spell Damage ability (such as Kobold Geomancer), minions that have been granted Spell Damage by Ancient Mage, Velen's Chosen or Dalaran Aspirant, and heroes as long as there is a Jungle Moonkin in play.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
As a 2 mana card instead of 1, Spirit Claws is a decent card if you have Spell Damage such as Bloodmage Thalnos or Wrath of Air Totem. Without Spell Damage, it is below average - compare for instance Light's Justice, which costs 1 less mana but has 1 extra durability.
