How to get[edit]

Raid Leader x 2 are automatically included in all players' collections.

Golden Raid Leader is a reward for raising a warrior to levels 57 and 58.

Raid Leader is soulbound and cannot be crafted or disenchanted.

Play Raid Leader in conjunction with other minions. Raid Leader is great in decks that rely on many small minions. To get maximum benefit from this card, play with card with many small minions. With many small minions Raid Leader will be adding +1 attack to each minion, netting you a larger amount of added damage than with a larger, higher mana cost minion which where Raid Leader would only provide a a single +1 attack.

Raid Leader has good synergy with decks which focus on a large number of small minions. Examples include shaman, murloc and hunter beast decks.

Handle it!
Hit it very hard.

The raid leader is there to command and guide the raid to victory with strength and intellect. Many raid leaders have come and gone during the history of Azeroth, but their legendary conquests remain.

The term 'raid leader' is widely used in World of Warcraft to describe the player in charge of a raid, a group of 10-25 players engaged in a high-end PvE challenge.

  • Upon playing a Raid Leader he will say "Handle it!". If you attack with the Raid Leader, he will say "Hit it very hard." Both lines and his flavor text are in reference to the famous Onyxia Raid Wipe. The leader in this video epitomises the negative traits typically attributed to raid leaders, such as aggression, swearing and verbal abuse of members of the raid.
  • Raid Leader's quote "Handle it!" was used for promotion of Hearthstone's iPad release.
"Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Now on iPad. Handle it!"
