Death's Bite is a common Naxxramas warrior weapon card.

How to get[edit]

Regular Death's Bite is obtained by completing the warrior Class Challenge in Curse of Naxxramas. Regular Death's Bite is soulbound and cannot be crafted or disenchanted.

Once the regular version has been obtained, the golden version can be crafted:

Card Crafting cost Disenchanting
Golden Death's Bite 400 50

Notes[edit]

  • Note that the Deathrattle will be triggered whenever the weapon is destroyed, whether this is from running out of Durability, being replaced by another weapon, or being destroyed by effects like Acidic Swamp Ooze or Harrison Jones.
  • This is the first weapon in the game to feature a Deathrattle, and also the first to deal AoE damage.

Strategy[edit]

Offering two powerful attacks and a highly versatile Deathrattle at a decent manacost, Death's Bite is a cornerstone in many Warrior decks. 4 damage is enough to destroy most early to mid-game minions outright. As a bonus the second strike is effectively 5 damage, thanks to the Deathrattle.

Death's Bite's Deathrattle can be used in the same way as Whirlwind, triggering Enrage effects and on-damage effects such as Armorsmith and Frothing Berserker. A very powerful combo is to summon Grommash Hellscream on the same turn you use up Death's Bite, allowing it to deal massive damage without warning.

Trivia[edit]
